The Constitution of India has a provision for the oath of all the Presidents, Prime Ministers, MPs, MLAs. Article 75 of the Constitution states that the Prime Minister will have to take oath in front of the President. Article 75 (4) provides the format of the oath of the Prime Minister and Ministers. Similarly, Article 99 has a provision related to the oath of all the members of Parliament. After the oath, a certificate is issued to the Prime Minister. On which the date and time of taking the oath is written. This letter also bears the signature of the PM.
